Scalloped Potatoes With Ham

SCALLOPED POTATOES WITH HAM

INGREDIENTS - 4 servings


6 tablespoons butter, divided
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon parsley flakes
½ teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
3 cups milk
6 cups thinly sliced peeled potatoes
8 oz. sliced Petit Jean EZ Carve Ham


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Melt 4 tablespoons butter in large saucepan.

  2. Stir in flour, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper until smooth.

  3. Add milk gradually and bring to a boil.

  4. Stir for 2 minutes.

  5. Combine potatoes and ham.

  6. Place half mixture in greased baking dish.

  7. Top with half of the sauce.

  8. Repeat layers.

  9. Cover and bake at 375º for 1 hour or until potatoes are almost tender.

  10. Add remaining butter to top.

  11. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes longer.
