Chili Cheese Frito Wraps

PRINT RECIPE

Author: Sarah Shotts -  SarahShotts.com

This no cook recipe is perfect for busy evenings or when you have a crowd of people to feed.

Simple recipes are just the best aren’t they? Especially when they are big on flavor and don’t compromise on quality. Petit Jean products are perfect for this! That’s why I’m always submitting easy delicious recipes here on Petit Jean eats (two of my favorites being Meat Lovers Pigs-in-a-Blanket and Breakfast Nests.)

Today’s recipe is for Chili Cheese Frito Wraps. And there is ZERO cooking since Petit Jean did all the work for us!

Before we dive into the recipe I lets have a little chat about ingredients. With simple recipes it is so important that everything is of the highest quality.

First, choose a fresh fluffy tortilla. I prefer Mexican brands because I find that they are softer and have fewer preservatives. For this recipe I am using 8” taco tortillas, but you could also make massive burritos if you have an extra hungry household.

Next, we need a nice sharp cheddar. You can use American cheese in a pinch, but the sharpness of a freshly grated cheddar gives the wrap a nice depth of flavor.

We’re using Petit Jean chili  because it is very flavorsome and fresh. My husband grew up on a cattle farm and says it takes like the fresh chili he grew up on.

Then grab a bag of your favorite corn chips and a bottle of mustard and we’re good to go!

Ingredients:

1 package Petit Jean Chili
3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
5 8” Tortillas
5 cups corn chips
optional: mustard

Instructions
Heat chili on the stovetop or in the microwave until it is piping hot.
Wrap tortillas in a wet paper towel and microwave 30 seconds to warm.
Crush corn chips.
Layer corn chips, chili, and cheese onto tortilla.
Fold sides in and roll tight like a burrito.
Serve with mustard. Enjoy!
