INGREDIENTS
1 4 to 5 pound turkey
Stuffing of your choice
12 inch deep dutch oven
24 hot coals and extras
Toothpicks
INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Rub turkey breast with salt and stuff with stuffing of your choice.
2.) Weave the raw peppered bacon into lattice pattern large enough to wrap turkey breast.
3.) Place turkey onto the bacon and secure with toothpicks until turkey is covered.
4.) Place wrapped turkey breast on rack in 12" dutch oven.
5.) Place 9 coals under oven and 15 on top.
6.) Cook until turkey reaches an internal temp of 180 degrees.
7.) Replace the coals after 45 minute-1 hour to maintain a 350 degree temp.
8.) Rotate lid ¼ turn clockwise and bottom ¼ turn counter clock wise to avoid hot spots.
